The ideal hotel to stay when visiting Calakmul

Casa Ka´an it´s a hotel in Calakmul that offers the experience of sleeping in the jungle.

Each Casa is independent and we have thought of every detail so that our guests enjoy the nature, tranquility and peace that Calakmul has to offer, without leaving behind the comforts of an urban and modern room.

It is the perfect place to stay when visiting Calakmul if you´re looking for a natural place away from town. We are only 5 minutes away from Xpujil, the main service area in the region and departure point for the expeditions to Calakmul Archaeological Site.

You can also ride our bicycles from Casa Ka´an to Becán, Xpujil and Chicanná archaeological sites, which are at only 5km away from the hotel.

These sites are little known, although they will complement your stay and experience because they show a very unique maya architecture, only found in this region: The "Rio Bec" architectural style. A residential palatial maya architecture, something a bit uncommon in other maya regions. Discover the three fake towers of Xpujil, the amazing facade at Structure I in Chicanná and the incredible tunnel from Becán.

At our hotel we are aware of the current scenario on global warming and climate change, this is why we are committed on minimizing the negative impact of our activities. Our houses work in part with solar energy, also we use water savers for the faucets and biodigestors to treat residual waters, we separate and recycle our trash, only use biodegradable detergents and soaps and we try to buy most of our supplies locally.

We are waiting for you at your home in Calakmul!
